Interior remodeling of Galeries Lafayette in Annecy

Project Description
Project Description
To create a seamless experience while passing through or shopping at the Galeries Lafayette, and to create a connection between the existing architecture and new interiors, elements of the iconic building from 1963 are enhanced by combining a custom-designed and locally sourced marble stone-floor pattern and a continuum of wood volumes, made from natural pine wood slats, and placed through the gallery’s curving shape. Creating a rhythm in the light entry, and a sense of place, in the beautiful surrounding landscapes in Annecy.
