Project Description
Project Description
Tasked to design a an solution to divide a rooftop terrace into smaller sections to discourage large parties, but encourage social interaction.
Instead of opting for a fencing off parts of the terrace, a counter-proposal was introduced. The idea was to transform the terrace into a multifunctional space, promoting alternative uses such as physical activities, herb gardening for cooking, or sunbathing in summer. The furniture is constructed from standard-sized elephant grates, harmonizing with the building’s aesthetic through the use of galvanized steel with a matching finish. The divisions vary in height and size to allow for different activities to be spread around the rooftop.
